This is research project that explores the cultural aspects of textile practice, addressing some issues in the work of weaving to highlight an art that has been undervalue.
Through formal research and artistic expression permits a celebration of this medium that can shed light on the cultural context and intersections of space, gender, class, and time. Texere project analyzes social relations by weaving a fabric in a performative dance. The choreography was inspired by the rhythms and movements of the textile practice of bobbin lace, which literally and metaphorically aided rural communities in creating and strengthening their social fabric. The act of creating this lace is not only about producing something beautiful, but also maintaining social cohesion and community.

These are some examples of the actions that I have been developing throughout the project, they reflect all the experiences I have while making lace in my lace pillow, It shows the mechanisms of assembly, technical dexterity, the persistence, precision, time, and sometimes the mistake.
